Expressions of interest now open for free Multi-hazard Resilience Ratings home assessments

The Resilience Ratings provide households with a tailored list of actions to measurably improve the climate resilience of their home. The Ratings were created by Australia’s leading bushfire, flood, storm, cyclone, heatwave and energy experts, through a collaboration led by the Resilient Building Council (RBC), funded by the Australian and NSW governments.

RBC’s mission is to help every Australian make their home safer. We translate science and research into easy-to-use digital tools to help Australians adapt their homes, and access insurance and finance benefits.

The National Emergency Management Agency is providing 200 free assessments in priority areas across Australia, to support a national rollout of the Resilience Ratings Scheme. We are seeking interest from households who would like to receive a free multi-hazard Resilience Ratings home assessment, which is currently available for detached houses.
