The City of Gold Coast and Resilient Building Council are inviting up to 1,000 households to participate in Australia’s first online trial of the Resilience Ratings Home Assessment. Help us spread the word!
Gold Coast residents with freestanding homes can complete a free self-guided home assessment and receive a personalised Resilience Ratings Action Plan showing how their home may perform during floods, bushfires, severe storms and tropical cyclones, along with practical recommendations to improve resilience.

For Community Groups
Raise $20 for every completed home assessment!
50 completed assessments = $1,000 for your group
Help your Gold Coast community group, sporting club or school raise money while helping Gold Coast households prepare for floods, storms and bushfires.
How Does It Work?
Your group can earn $20 for every completed home assessment. It’s simple:
Spread the Word: Encourage your members to register for the program. Use the flyer provided or direct them to rbcouncil.org/gold-coast.
Sign Up: Members, families, and supporters complete a free Resilience Ratings home assessment and choose your group when signing up.
Raise Funds: Each eligible assessment completed brings in $20 for your group. No selling products or fees involved!
Who Can Participate?
This opportunity is open to a variety of groups, including:
– Local sporting clubs
– Schools and kindergartens
– Neighbourhood or community groups
– RSLs and service clubs
– SES groups or Rural Fire Brigades
– Local charities or not-for-profits
Why Participate?
Not only will your group earn funds, but participants also receive a personalized Resilience Rating Action Plan. This plan offers practical steps to fortify homes against severe weather, making the community safer and more prepared for floods, storms, and bushfires.
