Promotional Kit

The City of Gold Coast and Resilient Building Council are inviting up to 1,000 households to participate in Australia’s first online trial of the Resilience Ratings Home Assessment. Help us spread the word!

Gold Coast residents with freestanding homes can complete a free self-guided home assessment and receive a personalised Resilience Ratings Action Plan showing how their home may perform during floods, bushfires, severe storms and tropical cyclones, along with practical recommendations to improve resilience.

Expressions of Interest are now open:

How you can help

 – Share the opportunity through your newsletters, social media channels, websites and community networks

 – Display flyers or posters at your venue or events

 – Encourage local households to register their interest

 – Attend or host a community information session

Community Information Sessions

The Resilient Building Council is exploring opportunities to deliver short information sessions across the Gold Coast to help residents learn more about the project and how the Resilience Ratings Home Assessment works.

If your organisation would be interested in:

 – Hosting a community information session at your venue, or

 – Attending an information session if one is held in your area

Please email projects@rbcouncil.org to enquire

Sessions will include:

 – Demonstration of the Resilience Ratings Home Assessment

 – Key benefits for households

 – Practical resilience actions and case studies

 – Questions and answers

We can also provide a digital and printed stakeholder information pack, including flyers, posters, newsletter content and social media assets to help promote the program.
