Gippsland Workshops: Resilience Starts Here
What a turnout Gippsland! Over the past few months, 23 community workshops and two trade events were held across the region. Each session was filled with locals eager to strengthen their homes and contribute to a more resilient Gippsland.
Jointly run by the Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund these community and trade workshops were designed to promote the benefit of using the RBC’s new app being piloted to improve the resilience of the individual owner’s home against disaster events.
Thanks to everyone who joined us and helped build a safer, stronger Gippsland.
Thanks also to Gippsland TAFE and Dahlsen’s for inviting GERF and RBC to these trade events. Special thanks to the organisations which provided significant donations to ensure these community workshops were free and rolled out across Gippsland – NAB Foundation Community Grant, Gippsland Community Foundation, ERGT Australia RTO 2534 and Marinus Link.
